3-way Electric Ball Valve-(PDF)
Features:

Valve Design:
Valve is ordered with either a two-hole or three-hole ball. The two-hole ball switches from one inlet (or outlet) to the other, with a momentary no-flow condition. The three-hole ball ensures that flow is uninterrupted, with a momentary mixing of flow from the two ports. It is suggested that you specify the two-hole ball if you want to prevent the two streams from mixing, and specify the three-hole ball if you are concerned about dead-heading with a momentary no-flow condition. If you are unsure, you are invited to contact our Technical department for assistance at (973) 256-3000.
Materials of Construction:
Actuator enclosure is primarily PETRA, a rugged, corrosion-resistant thermoplastic. Other materials exposed to the atmosphere include Lexan, Stainless Steel, and Buna-nitrile. Valve materials are PVC or Corzan®. Valve seats and bearings are PTFE. Wetted seals are Viton® or EPDM.
Temperature and Pressure:
Pressure rating for both PVC and CPVC is 175 PSI at 75 degrees F (24 C). Maximum temperature for PVC is 140 degrees F (60 C); maximum temperature for CPVC is 180 degrees F (82 C).
Wiring Diagram:
If momentary signal is desired, standard timing relays can be used. Wiring diagram is available from our Technical Group; 973-256-3000.

CAD Drawing:
If you need a non-CAD drawing of Series TEBV, you may simply right-click the dimensional drawing above, and "save as" in your desired directory.
If you would like a full-fledged .dwg file, please read the following note, then click on the CADlink icon below.
NOTE THAT YOU WILL NEED TO DOWNLOAD TWO SEPARATE FILES TO GENERATE A DRAWING OF SERIES TEBV: First, download the TMBV file, which is the 3-way ball valve by itself, then download the EBV file, which is the actuator. Download EBV-65.DWG for 1/2" thru 1" valves. Download EBV-104.DWG for 1-1/2" and 2" valves. By combining the drawings, you will have TEBV.
3-Way Solenoid Valves: If you need the electric actuation of TEBV, but perhaps you need instantaneous on/off control, or a much smaller sized valve, or a lower-cost valve...Series THP is a compact 3-way solenoid valve.
Ball Valves Index Page -- Overview and links to all ball valves, actuators, and accessories. Possibly the page you were on prior to this one.
Series MBV -- True Blue Ball Valves -- Manual version of Plast-O-Matic's popular ball valve line; constructed with integral mounting lugs for easy addition of an actuator when needed. Features also include Trunnion design, reinforced shaft and PTFE thrust washer. 2-way and 3-way designs. Socket, threaded, flanged ends, NPT, BSP or Metric; customizing available.
Series EBV -- Actuated Ball Valves -- Electrically powered actuators for 2-way and 3-way ball valves, all sizes. Features Standard Manual Override.
Series ABV -- Actuated Ball Valves -- Pneumatically or hydraulically powered actuators for 2-way and 3-way ball valves, sizes 1/2", 3/4", and 1". Air x air and "fail safe" air x spring models available; converts easily between types. Manual override standard.
Series ABR -- Actuated Ball Valves -- Pneumatically or hydraulically powered actuators for 2-way and 3-way ball valves, sizes 1-1/4", 1-1/2", and 2". Air x Air and "fail safe" Air x Spring models available. Manual override standard on air x air, optional on air x spring version. Air x spring converts easily between fail safe "open" and fail safe "closed."
Series TMBV -- 3-way Manual Ball Valves -- Explanatory page for 3-way ball valves, all sizes. These are the valves that serve as the base for the actuated packages depicted on this webpage.
Series TABV & TABR -- Actuated Ball Valves -- Explanatory page for pneumatically or hydraulically actuated 3-way ball valves, all sizes. For actuator specifications, use the above links for the appropriate size.
Series LMBV -- Lateral Reducing Ball Valve -- Explanatory page for lateral reducing ball valves which simplify lateral connections.
Series Z-Vent MBV -- Vented Ball Valve for Sodium Hypochlorite -- Vented ball valve for sodium hypochlorite and other applications prone to outgassing.
Series LS -- Limit Stops -- For use with actuated ball valves.
Series SW -- Limit Switches -- For use with actuated ball valves.
Air-Operated Diaphragm Valves and Globe Valves- Perhaps your application requires more rapid shut-off, or you want to use line pressure to open the valve, or have other reasons you don't specifically want a ball valve. If so, True Blue ASO, BSD, or BSR is likely to meet your needs.
Online Pressure Drop Calculator -- Allows you to easily determine the probable pressure drop across a valve. Note: For comparison and illustrative purposes only; not to be relied on for system design.
